MORNING MARKET RIDE: A TASTE OF LOCAL LIFE
Cycle into the day as the village comes to life. Visit the morning market, where the scent of herbs and banana-leaf sweets drifts through familiar voices and friendly exchanges. This is where daily life takes shape: among fresh produce, woven baskets, and everyday moments. Beyond what you carry in your bag, you’ll come away with a deeper sense of Lombok’s culinary heritage through stories, ingredients, and the early gestures of daily trade. This experience may also be paired with a cooking session or carried into a meal prepared by our chef using the ingredients found at the market.
FOREST BIKE TOUR TO A SECRET BEACH
Cycle through the natural landscape of Gunung Tunak Park, where trails wind through native trees and the air is alive with birdsong. Along the way, you may spot wild buffalo in the distance or take an easy hike at Nirwana Point 360 for a sweeping view of the sea. The ride leads to Bilasayak Beach - quiet, open, and often completely yours. Take time to pause, walk the shoreline, and reconnect with the island’s wilderness.
SAND THERAPY: A TRADITIONAL HEALING RITUAL
On a quiet stretch of beach, take part in an age-old healing ritual that draws from generations of island knowledge. Warm, coral-rich sand is gently pressed across the body, encouraging rest and release through natural reflex points. It’s a method that comes from the land itself — passed through generations, remembered, and shared. Afterward, sip Songgaq, a warm herbal drink made from foraged forest roots, believed to restore balance from within.
VISIT TO GUNUNG PUJUT MOSQUE
Spend a half day visiting one of Lombok’s most sacred and historic sites. Gunung Pujut Mosque is believed to mark the beginning of the island’s civilization and continues to hold deep cultural significance. The visit is an invitation for reflection through stillness, meditation, and guided conversation. Alongside your guide, you’ll learn about the island’s earliest settlements and gain a deeper understanding of traditional life still practiced today. BENANG KELAMBU: A FOREST WALK TO SACRED WATERS
This full-day experience leads to one of Lombok’s sacred springs, hidden deep within the forest and fed by an aquifer that is believed to be more than 200 years old. The journey begins with a walk through terraced rice fields and shaded jungle paths, as your guide shares stories of the land and its spirit. At the center is the waterfall where Princess Anjani is said to have bathed — a place where nature and story come together. You’re invited to pause in the mist, take in the sound of falling water, and feel the presence of something that has long endured.
SIGENTER VILLAGE: A STEP BACK IN TIME
Drive north-east to stop and catch the sunrise over the Sembalun Valley and Bukit Selong fields before arriving into a way of life that carries the roots of Lombok’s early communities. In Sigenter, traditional homes with woven roofs sit beside wood-fired kitchens, and children run barefoot through the farm. You’re invited to share in the rhythms of daily life - joining kids games, tending the fire, or simply listening to the stories passed through generations. Only a 5-minute boat ride away, the world-class surf breaks of Gerupuk welcome all levels — from first-timers to experienced riders. Sessions are led by instructors who’ve grown up in these waters. It begins with the tide and ends in balance — standing, gliding, and feeling the sea under your feet.
SNORKELING AT LOMBOK'S HIDDEN SHORES
Pick a coastline that calls to you — the pale pink shore of Pink Beach, or the hidden reefs beyond the northern Gilis. With someone who reads the sea like a story, you'll slip into clear waters and drift through an underwater garden. Life moves quietly beneath the surface. You return sun-warmed, salt-touched, and somehow changed.
TRADITIONAL FISHING
Sail with someone who knows the waters like the back of their hand. A local fisherman from Kuara will take you out to sea in the early hours of the morning, showing you how to cast lines, read currents, and reel in your catch. Later in the day, that same fish will become your meal — prepared by our kitchen and served in the traditional manner.
SUNSET CRUISE
Join the boat at 5 PM as the tide turns and the sun begins its descent. The ride carries you along the coastline, guided by breeze and current, while the sky shifts into softer hues. The horizon opens wide, and the sounds of the sea take the lead. Air, movement, and color weave together in a moment that lingers long after the light has faded.
MADAQ: COASTAL FORAGING AT LOW TIDE
(Tide Based) When the tide moves out, the shoreline reveals more than what first meets the eye. Join local foragers in collecting sea treasures, clams, and tide-trapped fish — practices rooted in coastal tradition. This is a hands-on encounter with the intertidal ecosystem, guided by those who know its patterns, creatures, and natural signs. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper sense of how the shoreline feeds and sustains, and how harvesting has always been a part of living by the sea.
PADDLEBOARD OR CANOE DISCOVERY OF KUARA BAY
Best enjoyed during calm morning tides or at sunset, this is a gentle exploration of Kuara Bay, where water meets mangroves and reefs in quiet rhythm. Whether you choose a paddleboard or canoe, you’ll move at your own pace, guided by the shoreline’s natural contours. Each session is overseen by a trained member of the Kuara family, ensuring both safety and comfort as you experience the bay from a new perspective.
